We were the last kids to grow up analog and the first adults to grow old digital.
Cool Millennialz makes shirts about that.
With a Z, because we were there when that was cool. We burned CDs. We rewound tapes. We waited through forty seconds of modem noise for one photo to load one line at a time, and we didn't complain, because we didn't know it could be faster. The waiting was half the fun.
We learned cursive. Nobody has explained why since, and we've stopped asking.
We had the best childhood ever recorded — and almost none of it was recorded, because nobody was filming. So we're printing it ourselves. One good memory per shirt, big enough to start a conversation in a parking lot.
Everything goes on heavyweight garment-dyed cotton, because we've reached the age where how a shirt feels matters more than how big the logo is. That's the one thing we'll admit about getting older. The rest of it, we're enjoying.
Analog kids. Digital adults.
Still cool, allegedly.
