Twenty-five cents got you something frozen in a plastic tube, and you cut the end with your teeth because nobody had scissors outside. Then you sat on the curb until it was gone, and then you sat there some more.

That was the whole plan. There was never a second half to the plan.

We have not been that relaxed since.
